Dress Down Friday! #1

It's current policy in my work that every Friday is dress down day!

Sometimes I take it literally and crawl into work in a comfy pair of jeans and tshirt, but mostly it's the day us girls get show off our own style. Today I went for a nice relaxed (think trekking through the jungle) style, I snapped a pic before leaving the house this morning so it's not great but you get the idea.

Uniqlo Chinos, Primark Shirt, New Look loafers.

Sometime I wish that everyday was dress down day, but then wearing my nice clothes wouldn't be so special!
I may make this a wee regular Friday feature (I promise to get better at the picture taking if I do)! Which will hopefully mean less lazy jeans and tshirt days!

Seven days later!

I'm a little late in my recap of last Friday night’s shenanigans, from when I hit the town with the lovely ladies from work! (was it really a week ago now) I’ve been a little under the weather and had Monday and Tuesday off work, and I’m currently flying through my to-do list like a crazy possessed person!

I’m taking time out to have a bit little light hearted blogging before getting back to work, writing articles about Christmas spending! Yes the dreaded “C” word, it really is just round the corner! I can’t believe it’s already September! Where did the summer go!?
Anyway, I digress… last Friday night was totally fab!

One of my colleges pulled out so I even got to invite my little sister along with me too!
Sis, Nicola enjoying the cocktails! :)

We got an amazing deal for Sapporo, a newish teppanyaki restaurant in Glasgow, off the 5pm website. Two courses and a cocktail for only £10! Really good value!

The entertainment factor of Sapporo is great, the chefs really  know how to make you giggle and enjoy yourself! The fact you're constantly watching them make your dinner is really different too. The food is not the best I've ever eaten, but the experience as a whole was fantastic!

Even hitting the wow factor by lighting a little fire for us! (this photo is the second lot of flames... as I asked him to do it again because I missed the photo the first time round)

We carried on with the cocktails in Browns Cocktail Bar & Restaurant in George Square, amidst the set of the World War Z film! Unfortunately we didn’t get a sneek peek of Brad Pitt!

Cheers!! Rene and Kelly.

The cocktail bar was amazing! Really lovely and grand inside, with a HUGE selection of cocktails. We got a bit of a history lesson from my colleague Rene, who was telling us how the building used to be the old postoffice and apparantly the location is the space that Harvey Nichols was supposed to go, if it was coming to Glasgow. Unfortunately Harvey Nichols set up in Edinburgh instead! Awe well... I doubt I could have afforded to shop in there all that much anyway!

It was a great night had by all, I will definitely be going back to Sapporo and Browns!
